Adenovirus having a common cold or flu-like symptoms:

Adenoviruses refer to a group of viruses that can cause a wide range of illnesses. It mainly causes MILD UPPER RESPIRATORY ILLNESSES. It includes COLD like symptoms sore throat, bronchitis, pneumonia, diarrhoea and the pink eye.
Adenovirus infections and the flu both cause the similar type of sign and symptoms. Adenovirus infections can cause fever, headache, body aches and sometimes but not always cough, stomach distress, and breathing problems which can be there in the case of flu.
Adenovirus infections can occur at any age but mainly affect children (more common in babies and young children).
Mostly Adenovirus can occur before 10 years of age.
